Nala the cat, commonly known as Nala, is a domestic cat and the companion of Aleksa Dimitrijević. She is credited as a co-producer on Unendlich (2026), the debut album by Alex Dietrich, and is one of the earliest artists signed to Dimitrium Records.
Nala is known for her calm presence during work on music and software. She is frequently found sleeping in elevated places and has been documented sitting with Dimitrijević while he writes code, produces music or works at a computer.

Things Nala cannot be or do
For all nine of her lives, Nala still has a few genuinely heartbreaking limitations. They are not failures of character; they are simply the cruel boundaries of being a cat.

- She cannot send a professional email to Dimitrium Records; her most reliable written contribution remains a row of accidental letters.
- She cannot perform a server restore, read a monitoring alert, or distinguish an SSH key from the warmest spot on a laptop.
- She cannot understand why a closed door exists when she would prefer it to be open.
- She cannot promise not to shed fur exactly where it will be noticed most.
These limitations have not prevented Nala from becoming an important presence in the household, the label’s mythology and the long-running struggle between workspaces and cat naps.
