Aleksa Dimitrijević (born 12 March 2000) is a Serbian table tennis player, web developer and creative technologist from Požarevac, Serbia. He is the captain of the first team of STK Bubušinac, where he also leads the club’s technical and information-systems development.
Alongside sport, Dimitrijević develops independent web projects and music-related projects. He is the founder of Dimitrium Records, the label of Alex Dietrich.
Table tennis career
Dimitrijević began playing table tennis in 2008. His club career included STK Požarevac and STK Proleter before he joined STK Bubušinac for the 2018–19 season. He subsequently became a long-serving member and captain of Bubušinac’s first team.
He competes in regional and quality-league competition and is known within the club for a steady style of play and for sharing experience with younger players. In the 2023–24 Regional League A season, he was recognized as the league’s second-best player. That season, Bubušinac finished second and earned promotion to the Kvalitetna liga.
In September 2024, Dimitrijević and teammate Ivan Krstić represented Bubušinac at the Šetonje table tennis tournament and accepted the club’s second-place Regional League A trophy on behalf of the team. He has also taken part in tournament administration, including draws, group allocation and event management.
As captain, he has led Bubušinac in league fixtures, including the club’s 4–2 victory over Borac of Kumane in October 2024, where he opened the match with a 3–0 win.
Technical work
Dimitrijević is the author and editor of the STK Bubušinac website. His work for the club includes its visual and technical development, a system for recording matches and results, player and league statistics, and the digitization of club and competition data.
His wider work focuses on building websites and self-hosted technical infrastructure. Through Dimitrium, he develops and documents independent web projects, software, visual work and music-related projects.
For STK Bubušinac, Dimitrijević developed not merely a conventional club website but the club’s full digital strategy and an integrated system that automatically connects match results, individual rubbers, players, clubs, rounds, seasons, tables, rankings and news. The system was conceived as a non-commercial initiative and a test platform for tools that could eventually be offered to other Serbian table-tennis clubs.
He works in electronics, telecommunications, automation and information technology, combining practical and technical knowledge in the development of these projects.
Self-hosted infrastructure
Dimitrijević maintains a two-server self-hosted setup consisting of Pluto, the primary production server, and Venus, the independent off-site backup and recovery node.
Pluto runs the public services and container workloads, while Venus receives encrypted backups and provides an independent monitoring point and a prepared cold-standby option for selected services. The servers check one another through a private network and send Healthchecks and ntfy alerts to Dimitrijević when a problem needs attention. This arrangement keeps the infrastructure modest, understandable and recoverable without exposing its access details publicly.
Open-source projects
Dimitrijević’s public software work includes LibreTT, a free and libre WordPress plugin for table tennis management. LibreTT is designed around open, portable and durable sports data: match results, historical archives, statistics, standardized data structures, import and export workflows, and self-hosted deployment. Its long-term vision includes stoni.rs as a public, community-accessible database for clubs, players, competitions and their history.
LibreTT is distributed under the AGPL, reflecting a commitment to software freedom, auditability, interoperability and resistance to vendor lock-in. The project is intended to remain useful to clubs, players, organizers and the wider table-tennis community without artificial feature gates.
His portfolio also includes Circuit Smart Redirect, a lightweight WordPress plugin for maintenance mode, temporary lockdowns and controlled site access. It redirects non-administrator visitors to a selected page while allowing administrators to continue working; it also supports scheduled maintenance windows, optional subpage access and role-based bypass controls.
Music and Dimitrium Records
In 2026, Dimitrijević founded Dimitrium Records, an independent record label based in Požarevac. The label’s early activity is closely associated with Alex Dietrich and the album Unendlich.
Dimitrijević founded and operates the label, while Dietrich is the recording artist and producer of Unendlich. When Dietrich signed with the label, he insisted that Nala the cat, the credited co-producer of Unendlich, be signed as well.
Personal life
Dimitrijević’s cat, Nala, is a recurring presence in his work and is credited as a co-producer on Unendlich. She is known for sleeping in high places and for occupying a lap during coding, music production and other desk work.
